The High Ring III method has established strength evaluation formulas for the through-hole sections, allowing for the relaxation of restrictions on the diameter and position of the through-holes, thereby increasing flexibility in equipment planning. Additionally, by standardizing high rings and streamlining steel fabrication, it achieves cost reduction and shortened construction periods. This method has been validated through full-scale experiments and FEM analysis, and has received certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Certification Numbers MSTL-0234, 0451, 0477, 0480, 0515) as well as evaluation from the Japan Building Center (BCJ Evaluation ST0095-09).
